Carbon Grey - Quartzite
Carbon Grey quartzite comes from the Brazilian State of Minas Gerais. About 1,500-2,000 m³ of blocks are extracted annually from giant boulders. The quarried blocks are all large and rectangular. The color of the material hardly changes from block to block. This color consistency is a great advantage, especially when it comes to large-area applications.
In addition to its appealing grey tone, Carbon Grey has a fine cloudy structure that gives the material a special elegance. Its appearance may be reminiscent of the classical basalts such as Basaltina® or Basaltite®, but the abundant deposit of this quartzite allows ongoing availability, especially of large-sized blocks. Thanks to the very good technical properties of this quartzite it can be used both indoors and outdoors.
