Manna Resort

South Tyrol, Italy

Close to the little village of Montagna in South Tyrol, an old sawmill in the wondrous nature breathed new life with Manna Resort, a location dedicated to the well-being of the mind and spirit.

Designed by Pichler Architects, the hotel is spread across several volumes and is a starting point for a departure into an imaginary world created with furnishing items and elements from across the globe, remaining entirety into the surrounding landscape. Bagnara played a central role in this project, providing numerous, different claddings depending on the specific brief for the varied environments, guaranteed both swift and high quality work on site.

All the selected materials comes from every part of the planet and respect the various traditions of the resort’s ambience.

Verde Lapponia, green Norwegian quartzite, and Beola Nera, grey gneis from the Italian Alps, are two of the many stones used for the bathrooms that make any suite totally unique.
The exotic Nero Port Laurent, marble from Morocco with a warm veined structure, is used for the bar counter.
The exclusive Kuroca quartzite from Angola is used for a wide staircase instead, making the ambience elegant and scenographic due to its gold veins.
Outside, finally, Bagnara’s work was about both material and visual integration with the local porphyry.
