Eden Tower is a 104.5-meter-high residential skyscraper, located in Singapore’s historic Orchard Road district and house of twenty luxury apartments, one for each storey.
The building, designed by Heatherwick Studio, is inspired by the idea of Singapore as "City in a Garden" and resembles a spine blade: each storey is like a vertebra with lush and big garden balconies situated in between.
Bagnara was involved in the project and provided the green chlorite schist Pannonia Grün, which matches perfectly with this idea of a building that entwines nature with city apartment living and that meets all requirements as architectural building.
The material, crafted in different finishes such as satin, sandwaterjet and sandblasted, dresses up the internal parts of the façade and the flooring of the common areas, for a visual integration with the lush gardens and a sense of well-being and calm.
