Onyxmarble, which colloquially gets labeled as onyx, consist of colorful calcareous sinter (freshwater calcium carbonate). It is formed near water springs through fine calcium precipitations from spring and seepage water. Onyx is a cryptocrystalline mineral with translucent transparency. This rare material is particularly suitable for backlit objects for interior design and lends an exclusive atmosphere to each room. Common colors of the onyxmarble are white, yellow, brown, orange, red and green, in every imaginable shade.
